Whokoban

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14.08.2026

In short: Whokoban collects nothing. The game has no analytics, no accounts, no advertising, no in-app purchases, and no third-party components. It makes no network connections of any kind, so there is nothing for us to receive even if we wanted it. What the game remembers — which levels you have played, which achievements you have earned — is written on your device and stays there.

This Privacy Policy explains how WIZHUT TECH SINGLE MEMBER P.C., operating under the name Wizhut.tech ("Wizhut.tech", "we", "us", or "our"), handles information in connection with your use of the Whokoban game for iOS (the "App"). It applies only to the App. It does not apply to the wizhut.tech website or to any other product or service we operate, which are governed by their own notices.

1. Who we are

For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR") and other applicable data protection laws, the data controller is:

  • Controller: WIZHUT TECH SINGLE MEMBER P.C.
  • Trading name: Wizhut.tech
  • Registered address: 52 Artis, Agios Dimitrios, Athens, Attica, Greece
  • Contact email: privacy@wizhut.tech

2. What the App does

Whokoban is a single-player puzzle game for iPhone. You push crates onto goals to unlock an exit, then walk to it. Every level is rebuilt on your device from a small numeric seed included in the App, which is why the game needs no connection and no downloads after installation.

3. Information we collect

None. The App does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data or usage data. Specifically, it does not collect your name, email address, contacts, location, photos, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP address, or any record of how you play.

There is no analytics or crash-reporting software in the App, and no advertising or attribution software development kits (SDKs). The App contains no networking code at all — it never opens a connection to us or to anyone else.

4. Information stored on your device

So that your progress survives closing the game, the App saves a small amount of information in its own private storage area on your device:

  • Which achievements you have earned, and your progress toward the ones you have not.
  • Which levels have already been dealt to you, so that a level is not repeated until you have played the others on its tier.
  • Whether you have muted the sound.

This information stays in the App's sandboxed container on your device. It is not personal data, it is never transmitted anywhere, and we never see it. Deleting the App removes it permanently. If your device is set up to back up apps to iCloud or to a computer, that backup is made by Apple's software under your own iCloud or backup settings, not by us.

5. Children

Whokoban is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 16. Because the App collects nothing and transmits nothing, there is no children's data for us to hold, and no parental consent for us to seek.

6. Advertising and in-app purchases

The App contains no advertising, no in-app purchases, and no subscriptions. No advertising network, analytics provider, or other third party receives anything from the App, and your activity is never used for profiling, remarketing, or personalised advertising.

7. The App Store and Apple

The App is distributed through Apple's App Store. Your download, purchase, and account relationship with the App Store is between you and Apple, and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, not by this one.

Apple provides developers with aggregated, anonymised statistics about App Store performance — such as approximate numbers of downloads by country. We may see those reports in App Store Connect. They are produced by Apple, they contain no information that identifies you, and we cannot connect them to any individual.

Separately, if you have chosen to share analytics and crash information with app developers in your device settings (Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements), Apple may make crash diagnostics available to us. That sharing is controlled entirely by your device setting and can be switched off there at any time. It is off unless you turn it on.

8. Legal basis, retention, and international transfers

We do not process any personal data through the App, so no legal basis under Article 6 GDPR is engaged, we retain nothing, and no personal data is transferred to any country or international organisation.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR and similar laws you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because we hold no personal data about you, there is in practice nothing for us to disclose, correct, or delete — but you are welcome to contact us at privacy@wizhut.tech and we will respond.

The data stored on your device is under your own control at all times: deleting the App erases it. In the EU/EEA you may also complain to your national data protection authority; in Greece, that is the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).

10. Security

The strongest protection we can offer is not collecting anything. What the App writes stays inside its sandboxed storage on your device, protected by iOS and by your device passcode and encryption settings.

11. Changes to this Policy

If the App ever begins to handle information differently — for example if a future version adds Game Center leaderboards, which would involve Apple's own services — we will update this Policy and the "Last updated" date above before that version is released. Material changes will also be noted on the release log.
